Cookie Policy

Short version

There are no advertising cookies on this site and no data is sold to third parties. The only optional cookie group is measurement, which shows which posts get read and where the site gets in the way.

Measurement cookies do not run before you opt in. If you decline, the site works exactly the same and no content is withheld.

Separately, two tools run without cookies and regardless of consent: a visit counter (Umami) and on-page interaction measurement (Microsoft Clarity). The cookieless measurement section below explains them.

Strictly necessary cookies

These are required for the site to function and do not need consent. They are never used for advertising or profiling.

Measurement cookies (opt-in)

This group runs only if you accept it. It is loaded through Google Tag Manager. Microsoft Clarity loads before you accept, but writes the cookies below only after you do.

Cookieless measurement (runs regardless of consent)

Visits are counted without cookies, using Umami. Umami writes no cookie, stores nothing on your device and does not follow you across sites. It therefore does not depend on cookie consent and runs whatever you choose in the banner.

What Umami sees: the page address, the referring address, country, browser and screen information. To count unique visitors it derives an irreversible value from the IP address and browser details, and that value is rotated regularly. It cannot be traced back to you.

Microsoft Clarity also loads whatever you choose in the banner. If you have not accepted measurement cookies, Clarity writes no cookie and stores nothing on your device. It sends clicks, scrolling, pointer movement and a replayable recording of the page; every pageview is a separate recording, and pages or visits are not linked to each other. If you accept measurement cookies, Clarity writes the cookies in the table above and joins the pages of one session. Clarity always receives a refusal for data sharing with Microsoft Ads.

The basis for both tools is legitimate interest. If you want no measurement at all, use your browser's tracking protection.

Legal basis

Strictly necessary cookies rely on the exemptions in article 5/2 of Turkish data protection law (KVKK) and, for EEA visitors, on the equivalent necessity ground. They are required to deliver the service, so no separate consent is collected.

Measurement cookies rely on explicit consent. No such cookie is written before consent is given; the Google Analytics and Hotjar tags do not fire, and Microsoft Clarity runs without cookies.

The site uses Google Consent Mode v2. Measurement signals stay in the denied state until you opt in.

International transfers

Google Analytics and Hotjar process data on servers outside Turkey. When you consent to measurement cookies, the data these services process is transferred abroad; if you decline, no such transfer takes place.

Umami and Microsoft Clarity, which run without cookies, also process data abroad and run regardless of consent. See the cookieless measurement section above.

Withdrawing consent

You can change your decision at any time. The button below opens the cookie preferences dialog. Turning measurement off also clears the related cookies from your browser.

You can also delete or block cookies from your browser settings.

Your rights

You have the right to learn whether your personal data is processed, to request information about it, to ask for correction or deletion, and to object to the results of processing. Use the contact page for such requests.
